Lockwood Home&Gift Seasonal Sales Associate 

We're looking for a warm and friendly person, who's comfortable and thrives in customer-facing roles. 

Responsibilities include:

• Open and close the store according to established procedures

• Greet and assist customers with a positive, welcoming attitude

• Use product knowledge to make thoughtful recommendations and guide customers through their shopping experience

• Efficiently process transactions, including ringing up purchases, wrapping items, and enrolling customers in our Lockwood Loyalty Program

• Ensure every transaction is completed with care and accuracy

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor

• Assist the team with tagging, organizing, and preparing the floor for incoming  product

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of retail or customer service-based experience, are detail-oriented, and enjoy the retail hustle. 

Part-time, three days a week, one weekend day

Seasonal period runs through mid-January 2026

Pay $18.50 hourly

Lockwood Freelance Visual Merchandiser 

About the Role

As a Freelance Visual Merchandiser, you’ll play a key role in curating an engaging and dynamic shopping environment at all 7 Lockwood locations. From executing floor sets to maintaining eye-catching displays, you’ll ensure that our store remains inviting, shoppable, and aligned with brand standards. Working closely with the Office Team, you’ll help implement merchandising strategies that drive sales and enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation

• Travel between Lockwood locations to develop and implement creative visual displays using props, fixtures, and lighting 

• Arrange merchandise in a way that highlights key items and tells a story

• Execute and maintain seasonal floor sets

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while merchandising on the sales floor

• Audit signage and product placement to maintain accuracy and shoppability 

Window & Seasonal Displays

• Work alongside the Office Team to develop creative concepts

• Source materials and execute impactful window and seasonal displays

• Refreshes and maintains window displays 

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in visual merchandising, retail, or a related field

• Strong understanding of merchandising principles and retail display techniques

• Ability to lift and move at least 40 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks as needed

• Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, and other internal communication tools
