Lockwood Style is Looking For a Full-Time Manager
The ideal candidate should have at least one year retail management experience and familiarity with buying, or working with, women's fashion and accessories. A keen sense of fashion trends and apparel a must. Some buying experience preferred. Additionally, the right candidate will have a savvy social media presence, knowledge of Lockwood brands, and event management experience.
As Lockwood Style Manager, your main duties will be:
+ Overseeing a small team, managing day-to-day store operations.
+ Buying new merchandise, preparing trend and budget reports, and overseeing weekly re-orders.
+ Inventory/supply management.
+ Working directly with the owner on visual merchandising and store layout.
+ Other duties might include: management level cashiering, training new staff members, and managing a markdown schedule.
The ideal candidate:
+ Should have an interest in fashion, great personal style, and an awareness of current trends.
+ 2 years retail experience, 1 year retail management.
+ Have strong organizational skills and be project oriented.
+ The ability to work equally well alone or with a team.
This job is full time and requires holidays and weekends. Some trade show attendance a must.
Medical insurance and bonuses offered after 90 day review. Hourly wage is negotiable, based on experience.
